Hi Mr. HIND.  Thank you.  Yes, my son is wonderful, he comes to my rescue often.  My other son lives in Colorado & he always helped take care of my big old farmhouse too.  I hope you're having a good afternoon.  I was shoveling again & my back is paying the price.  So now it's the heating pad for me...lol

Hi Ross, ice wizard, Charon, and everyone. Well I am 3 weeks and 2 days post op of my total knee replacement. Doing better everyday. Pain is still great. But 3 weeks what can I expect. I am walking with a stick, no Cain’s for me. I seem to have more stability using a hiking stick. Going up stairs....I have 14 of them...ugg. And now I have started outpatient physical therapy. This is such a slow,process. Anyone considering amTK replacement be prepared for the long process. It takes time. I am hoping to be semi back to normal beginning of January. So I hope.

I haven’t been writing much but I have been reading the posts. So I am around.. I will check back in soon.

Miss you all but be back full time soon. Can’t put Orange Rabbit down.

Hi OR!  I just saw your post about your surgery.  I am hoping you start to feel much better soon!  Having been thru a full hip replacement, I feel your pain.  But after having the surgery - I waited way too long - I was so glad that I finally had it done.  It took almost 3 months for me to really start feeling normal, but once I did, it was like gaining 10 years back as far getting around!

Of course, I have been due for the other hip to be done, but this time the wait wasn't my fault!  Have no idea when that can happen.  But please take it easy on the steps for a little while longer.  I know the feeling of wanting everything to go faster in a treatment situation, but you can't force it!  Trust me!!

Hugs and love my friend!!  And may you heal quickly!!

(deep thoughts) doctor recently prescribed me a little white round pill that was .25 lorazepam. i was heavily sedated did not like it one bit. i was seeing things while doing something normal. i had laid down and felt like i was walking, not my cup of tea, and i love tea.

Thanks Roses and Slick for the positive vibes and wishes. Yes I wish I could do everything now. Just resting is horrible and soooo boring. I don’t even want to watch TV anymore. I am going to start working about 4 hours a day something e this week. I work from ho e when not traveling so I think this will work out OK.

Slick and how are you doing and feeling? I haven’t been watching the posts as much since I’ve been down. Happy thoughts and prayers to you.

Roses, what have you been up to? I hope you are feeling fine.
