put em on pogo sticks. on concrete. and they were fun. about four yrs ago, a little girl i was friends with, got a pogo stick. i was using a walker. and i asked, and she let me, and i did a pogo stick once more!!

and i won a hoola hoop contest. a race to win a fake doctor toy called Dr. Thumpy. it did not work. And, in second grade i won a twister contest. the dance. anyone else old enuff to recall these things?

and we could sit in back of open car, no one cared about laws then, and we went to carvel.

and played music, music, music. Wonderful memories you have brought to many of us, DW. wonderful.

Good Morning Everyone.

I love all the water photos & the food & drinks are out of this world.

I had talked about Nantucket Island before & how I loved it so here is a video if anyone is interested.

My favorite summer would be 2 weeks on the island after also going to the lonely beaches & old beach towns of the more isolated places on Cape Cod which is where you get the ferry to Nantucket. We never brought the car instead I would walk or use a bike to get around the island too. There are lots of completely isolated beaches & those towns with cottages from the 1600's & they are all covered with roses.
Even over the roofs. Just gorgeous. I think of these places all the time & if I could afford it I would def move to CapeCod.

This is my favorite kind of summer vacation.
