Wow Fury, that was a close call.  Glad you are OK and you were able to defuse the situation on your own. Where I live there are no local police so the state police have to respond to all calls with the closest barracks is over 20 miles away from my home.  Usually there are only two officers on duty at any one time to cover our whole county, so the only one you can count on is yourself.  Since the US is getting to be more like the wild west everyday, open carry sounds like a good solution. I hope your emotional scars also soon heal with the help of the good Lord.  Hopefully, they will lock up your attacker without bond to protect others from this apparent madman.
