Doxepin at low doses is essentially a H1-antagonist like Benadryl. Trazodone at low doses is also a H1-antagonist but also is a 5HT2C-antagonist.
Personally, trazodone makes me feel like garbage. I threw out the box after trying it 2 or 3 times. I keep doxepin around, and if I really can't get some sleep, just 1 mg helps.
Thank you ! I will give a chance to doxepin.

Have noticed a lot of other people are on them now, seems to be the choice of gps at the mo, no doubt with a little persuasion from the pharm companies.
Yes ! exaclty the same problem I had on mirtazapine, I took it a Friday night ( 9 pmĀ ) I slept till Saturday 2 pm ! And even so, I was still feeling indeed of more sleep
