It feels like Summer here in New York, gotta run the ac for the pets. I was hoping to avoid putting Aceon until late May!

How cool. He must have been thrilled to have a helper. I imagine you were as well.

I am proud of u both. The rest of the world is crashing and burning, or so it seems, but to have someone go outta their way to help a helpless creature is a nice thing to know about.

Well done so yeah u can rest now. I, myself am calling it a nite.

Yes I did! There's not much 'nature' left around here. Where I live used to be rolling hills far as the eye can see. The hill tops and everything else scraped off for buildings, now there's housing shortage and not enough land to develop... So even the smallest creatures get attention when in need. They need a fighting chance ffs..

Last year in February I found an Alligator lizard lying by a bush in the cold. Shoulda been hibernating and looked dead but turns out he was barely alive and and covered in something very smelly like petroleum. Washed him off with warm soapy water and kept him in the house. He slowly recovered and started eating again after about a week. I was able to drive him to the hills and set him free. I found out the bush was sprayed with Malathion to kill Aphids...
