it is 78 degrees in NY suburbs.

and a fire advisory.
and its just beginning. If anyone of u also have lupus, be really careful. U can pass out in the sun but nonetheless u pay for it the next day with exhaustion. i have no idea if there is a legit med for it. don't trust drs too much anymore.

so, how is it in your neck of the woods?

Past several days have been nice here about 75 degrees but today is cloudy and getting colder. I found some pollywogs/Tadpoles in a shrinking puddle today. Debating on whether to hike back there and rescue them. Need a small net to catch em I think. Hmmm.

my sister and i hid out at the brook. and we would catch tadpoles and pollywogs. move them to the safer side of the brook.

aye, tis a good good reason for the hike mr. hind. I am sure they would be eternally grateful.

They're fairly high up on the mountain where it's quite dry so I believe they're toads. I'll get em outta there so hopefully they'll have a fighting chance.

Just please be careful. High on a mountain is a bit of a concern. But u know what u r doing i am sure.

I was able to catch some before the water turned cloudy and could no longer see... They're quick and I was using an old Asian fryer strainer. Maybe operator error with the strainer.. Next few days will be cool n cloudy so I'll relocate rest tomorrow. I did dump my water in there as well, half gallon NON Chlorinated

The pollywogs will like their new home but it's a rough ride coming down the mountain in a ziplock bag.
I'm careful. Been up there many times.

High of 50 here today with drizzle and COLD wind..

Followup on the tadpole story, the rest were rescued... There was an Japanese man there by the time I arrived and he was using cups to catch them. I handed him my authentic hand made strainer with Bamboo handle and he LOL'd then took a picture of it before scooping out the last tadpoles
