RE: Daily Thoughts, Random Thoughts, Venting Area - Cricket - 12-09-2016 (12-08-2016, 11:00 PM)Charon Wrote: and, the kangaroo had his arms around the neck of doggie number one. that is probably part of his attack, but i dont look up stuff like that. i don't wanna know. i know enough about human cruelty. don't want to be exposed to cruelty by animals or against them. i did notice another doggie sans the neck scarf in the video. I saw the Roo look at the man, and the other dog before he figured out the bell had just run on this boxing match. smart Roo. Run away to face another day. That Roo acted like a typical bully. Act all tuff until someone decides to fight back and then just run/hop away. I just loved the expression on the Roo's face. It really was like he was thinkin' WHF. So glad the pup was not hurt tho cause it could have really ended badly. Cricket RE: Daily Thoughts, Random Thoughts, Venting Area - Popster - 12-09-2016 the guy was so smart at the end.....backed off...didn't take it further (like protect his Masculinity or whatever). He looked quite confident.....I think he can take of himself.....I am sure of it. The roo would have killed the dog.....notice how he was holding the dog down and in his grip....human type of hold, so the dog was not resisting......the next move would have been the roo's foot in the dog's underbelly, groin area.....it's quite clear really. ......and he was almost as tall as the boxer. really interesting video
RE: Daily Thoughts, Random Thoughts, Venting Area - Linville - 12-09-2016 (12-08-2016, 12:56 PM)Linville Wrote: OMG I'm laughing while driving to work this morning See; Goat Yoga: It’s Yoga … With Goats! Courtesy of Lainey MorseEvery once in awhile, you stumble upon a phrase that immediately incites you to learn more. "Goat yoga" is one of those. “Goat Yoga is a yoga class that is held in the back field at my farm,” writes Lainey Morse, the proprietor of Goat Yoga (as well as a freelance photographer and office manager) in an email. “My goats are all very social and friendly so they graze and sit and lie down next to everyone.” Goat yoga is not yoga for goats; with their climbing, prancing, and gymnasticsabilities, it seems obvious that goats are more physically capable than we’ll ever be. Instead, Morse’s goats—a mixture of Nigerian dwarf and pygmy goats, with one full-sized Boer—serve more like therapy animals during a normal human yoga class. Morse lives in Oregon’s Willamette Valley, with views of the Oregon Coast Range of mountains. Originally from Michigan, Morse has lived in Oregon for a decade, and sometimes hosts events at her farm, named No Regrets Farm. At one, a children’s birthday party, one of the parents attending happened to be a yoga instructor with an eye for scenery, and she suggested the farm as a potential site for a yoga class. Held earlier this summer, some attendees drove all the way from Portland, 100 miles away. “My goats are just very peaceful animals and everyone that comes over leaves stress free and happy. When they chew their cud it’s almost like they go into a meditative state and it’s very soothing to watch and it’s perfect to combine with Yoga,” she writes. Morse has scheduled two more classes, one on September 10 and the second on September 24. “I think it’s really special but I do realize that it makes me look a little crazy,” she writes. “That’s okay.” Doesn’t sound crazy at all to us! From our partners at RE: Daily Thoughts, Random Thoughts, Venting Area - Charon - 12-09-2016 well i'll be. a goat attacked me when i was five. at a petting zoo. we never figured out why. so, i shall pass on this one. does not seem to be that one can do yoga lifts or such with a wee animal camped on ur body. but, it does look peaceful. i cannot believe u found the pics of this one, linville. good work. RE: Daily Thoughts, Random Thoughts, Venting Area - Charon - 12-09-2016 RE: Daily Thoughts, Random Thoughts, Venting Area - Linville - 12-10-2016 OMG Charon that is funny RE: Daily Thoughts, Random Thoughts, Venting Area - Spanky - 12-12-2016 What Linville said Charon, that is a good one, "the jackass whisperer" LOL Spankster Unrelated to Jackass Whispering, I woke up this morning singing a song in my head and some out loud. It's"Railroad Bill", an American classic and folk song in the old sense. "Railroad Bill, Railroad Bill, lives way up on rail road his, ride Billy Ride" and "Railroad Bill, Railroad Bill, he never works and, he never will, ride Billy ride." I hate it when I do that. That's all I can remember, and I keep repeating it. Perhaps few of you could perseverate with me, it might go away, like a butterfly folding in it's wings in Chicago. Have great days all. Black Opium - Spanky - 12-16-2016 Macy's and other retailers are now carrying "Black Opium". Yes, I know, sounds hard to believe. Comes with free gift, an opium pipe I would reckon. Back to the future, right? Anyway, you can be the first on your block to be using Black Opium, it being out of style for some time. Just splash some behind the ears. "What are you using?" "Why, Black Opium of course." I hope they put one of those "sniff" patches in some of the glam glossy mags. What's next? "Meth Magic"? What is the yidish phrase Charon uses, "oi vey", is that it, that's what I mean I think. |
