Welcome Frosty! I feel safe here, there are a lot of rules, but they are smart rules to protect us all. Good to reread them once in a while to be reminded, at least for myself sometimes! Hope you have a great day! Take care!

IMO, the "strictness" isn't scary at all..it's protection to me. I've been around forums for a while..been scammed many times, more than I can count, so I know all of this is needed. Just a shame that the bad ruin it for the good..story of my life. lol. But, glad to be here..hope to stick around for a while.

Most of us Sr. members here have been on other forums together and know how not to do things. We've learned a better way to do things and tho it can seem a bit harsh to newer members, it's done this way for good reason. There's a TON of experienced folks here that work very hard to make this the best, safest, most honest forum there is.

We are not just friends, but a family of people that care about each other and will back each other to the ends of the earth. Gettin' new members is great, but they must be patient and follow the rules so they can become part of our family.

There are unlimited amounts of very sensitive info here that needs to be protected for the good of all. Not to mention all of the friends you can make and the support and understandin' from members. We want to help, but have to be smart about these lifelines we treasure. For many of us, it's all we have.

I compose  a post and then I read it again, I don't want to violate the rules but they seem pretty straight forward.
I see post with the users name with a line through it and it says "banned" and I wonder why they were banned, was it because of 
breaking rules or not being active??  Anyway I find this forum to be very valuable and I want to stay a member, Thanks

Hey Tiger,

You might see posts from members who were banned for breaking the rules at some point. I trust the moderators and if they were banned I don't give em a second look. Could be one of MANY things they were banned for.

Thats one of the main reason I believe this to be the best board I have had the pleasure to be a part of.

Your best bet is to read other peoples posts, members that have a lot of creds to their name. You can tell after a while the "language" they speak in and what they mean.

Yes it's nice to know why others might be banned some actually do have reason but if I have ANY questions I go straight to a Moderator so there be no confusion. They keep the peace and should always be complimented for it.
