Lag when typing/tablet use

I remember having a similar issue several years ago typing was slow and the cursor was acting weird.
Now that I think of it, uninstalling and reinstalling the browser was what finally solved the problem I was having. I believe I was using Firefox at that time.
Chrome is a great browser!
I hope you will post back, I am also interested to know if  any of this fixes the problem.

I installed Chrome.  Experienced the lag a few times.  One thing I am noticing is it occurs more often when I quote someone.  Like right now it is lagging.  But I just typed a longer quoted response and it was fine.  Used my laptop and no lag on any posts.  So, it is something on my Ipad2.  Ipad2 is like five generations old at least.  I aprreciate the time and suggestions forme and admin of Stee

Apple has been notified by many companies and i guess been taken to the court for slowing up old devices on iOS9. So its not you alone experiencing the issue. I tried posting through my old iPhone 4S running iOS 9.1.2 and yep, The lag was unbearable. So its basically the OS that is causing the device to function this way. I have only only good suggestion left for you. Restore your device as a new device from iCloud or from the Restore Factory Settings and after you have done that only install what is most necessary. The device would feel light as a feather. 

Now that you mention it Admin of Steel often times I'll be on a webpage reading an article and it will crash.  A little prompt on the top of the screen will appear saying "there appears to be a problem loading this website" or something very similar and it reloads.  And, now that I've had the lag issue I think the crashes occurred once I got on ios9.  And I waited about two months before I donwloaded ios9 because there's always glitches when a new version comes out.  

And anyone worried about malware and Andriods Avast! provides great virus/spyware protection for free (also for PC's).

You are at the very last step of having your device bricked. Please being out the guts to restore your device or else it would start restarting itself or crashing Apps in a few days and once it starts doing that even restoring would become a pain. The chances of bricking up your device would get high then. So its wise to do it early and save your self from trouble.

Yes avast will run on linux, but I have yet to come across anyone experienced with linux who would recommend running antivirus of any kind, personally I have never had any trouble.
 In the microsoft days I basically spent the better part of every weekend removing malware , trojans and worms from my kids (now adults) pc's.
But personally have never had any problems and have been running linux distros since redhat.
I can see where there May be problems with these OS's designed for small devices just from all the changes that have been made to simplify UI for the general public.
We are talking about two different things though, Linux for small devices is likely no better than Microsft due to changes that have made it more user friendly to the general public. Soon there will likely be a price tag and the same crappy support all the other  proprietary software has. Windows servers and all kinds of scary things, lol.

Try KasperSky for a change. It slows down your system for good but i highly recommend it. A great piece of work.
