Vaporizers
#11
Got a seigel 50w box mod and nautilus tank, rarely smoke these days, never tried maryJ in mine,no intention of,prob mess the tank up knowing my luck, knew the big baccy companies would move in on this in some way, they want a slice of the vaping pie, either that or they are going to get friends in high places to ban it,was out at a club a few weeks ago and they told me to stop vaping cos smoking is banned in all public places, its not smoke dumbass, its just like the steam that comes out of a boiling kettle, will kettles be banned lol?
So much ignorance and lies promoted by the tobacco giants, wish i never started smoking, harder to stop smoking than it is to give up class A street drugs, there was some talk of vaping kits being given by nhs docs to help folk stop, doubt that will happen, will cost a lot more than those useless patches they give out,i'm actually considering suing some tobacco companies for messing up my health and causing family members to die of cancer caused by ciggy smoking, doubt i'll get far,in fact,i don't know where to even start,i'm just a working class guy with no money, what chance would i have against powerful baccy companies with friends in government.
If i did win, imagine the flood of others wanting compensation, for that reason they will make sure i don't stand a chance, death dealers.
Wonder if they have had to watch one of their parents die of cancer? If they have i don't know how they can continue to market cigarettes so aggressively.

How true... How true...

Over here the big bad gub-mint sued the big tobacco ... I guess in "our behalf"?... Now indivuals can no longer sue the bastages for damages.... Uncle Sam got the settlement... I guess to help out those that have problems?!?!

Somehow I really doubt all that....

Big Tobacco will continue to do as they please - which will probably include being the sole legal provider of e-liquid in pre-filled cartridges - as long as they keep the campaign contributions flowing. That is how influence is truly wielded in the USA, IMO.

That is so true. We have the best govt money can buy and boy is it bought. If you don't hand over enough cash your voice is not heard.

hi, TG. my partner has to give up cigarettes. he has some heart issue and COPD. he is trying.

is using an e cig. but, he used all sorts of things when young. cigarettes are the worst for him to give up, also.

the vaporizer for medicinal mj is awesome. just a small pen. if u can afford the cartridges, u have it made.

u could win in a class action law suit, but i doubt one will prevail against the billionaire cigarette makers.

i am sorry if u watched ur parent die that way. me mother gave up smoking after i was born, and when she died in her seventies, it was due to lung cancer.

i hate that they included the most addictive substances on the planet. and, i hate they now pummel us with TV commercials to give up the cigs before we have fingers amputated. its awful.

Big tobacco companies did this deliberately to the people. And, now, they want them off? not so easy.

good luck.

The sad thing is everything looks like the FDA is going to "deem" e-cigarettes (personal vapes) as TOBACCO products and regulate them as such. I think 2015 will be the highlight year of free market vaping and 2016 will see its end. The way the deeming regs read only big tobacco companies will have the financial resources to jump through the FDA regulations and market a whole new "tobacco" product. This isn't just happening in the US, I guess most of the EU is going this way also. Truly sad when something that saves lives is going to be taken away.

Of course, protecting the bottom line of companies (big tobacco) that make significant campaign contributions is the most important factor in all of this!

Ghost, I certainly hope not but it sounds like something I would expect our politicians to bring about

You hit the nail on the head as usual. Our whole govt is up for sale to the highest bidder and that includes foreign countries. The needs of the taxpayers and citizens comes in last after the needs of big donors. Thats one reason I would never vote for any candidate taking handouts from anyone who has the cash especially giant companies.
