Dancing Wolf, I am like you. I have too many email accounts.
I used to LOVE Yahoo when the internet "began." Gads, that makes me feel so old. "When we first began using the wheel, I can remember...".
Anyway, I opened some gmail accounts and had all of my important emails sent to certain gmail accounts I set up just in case I couldn't get on Yahoo. Now I worry about gmail being unsafe. But then, are any of them truly safe? I don't know enough about it.
I've never heard of Protonmail but I will be checking it out immediately. And yes, Yahoo has been giving me problems lately. Just here and there. Things it never used to do. We have Verizon. BLEAH. My yahoo emails are linked to Verizon. Most of them I just made into "Folders" and still use the different ones, but it's not going to be fun having to log in separately to each one when I (or they) unlink them.
I am right now going to go check out Protonmail! THANK YOU!
Abigail
