The best thing to give to get dogs or cats to take their pills, is to place the pill in small amount of cold cuts, directly into mouth. Â But, those of us whom did rescue, we used the $1 gerber meat strains for toddlers. Â Lamb, Chicken.
I never had one of my rescues refuse the Baby Food Meat. Â Makes pills far easier for ur pets. Â It is expensive.
Hi Char,
I wasn't sure if it was my older dog or the puppy that had it. It might not have hurt them, but you never know.
I had an older dog that would not take her pills for anything. I needed the jaws of life to get her mouth open when she knew what was coming. The only thing that did the trick for her was to hide it in a piece of cheese. She would eat ANYTHING if wrapped in cheese. She was my little cheese head LOL.
