What if your family are lunatics? 
I don't celebrate any holidays since my parents died.
Only if my sis and her husband can come for the weekend, but his mother is a widow, so they spend most holidays at her house, which I understand.
I have my older sister and her family here, but after my parents died in 2021, they havent invited me to one single thing. Not even Thanksgiving or Christmas.
Which is terribly rude, yes. But I don't want to join them knowing they don't want me there. I suppose with me there, they can't be their true selves.
Jesus isn't invited, either. So, I'm in good company.
