Is there any love for bromazep@m here?
#18
Yes barq-, so true. You can see just how much variance there is between people in how things go down.
I was hoping that 1 or 2 x 6mg Broms would assist me with sleep - but for me, I lie awake - with absolutely no anxiety Smile - but also still wide awake. Sad
And I have no intention of taking ludicrous amounts of Brom in an effort to get some sleep - only to find myself zombified throughout next day.

Side note: Brom has a half life of about 17hrs.
So if your average Joe took a 6mg tab, 17hrs later their blood level of Brom would be equal to having just taken a 3mg tab.
(Roughly speaking, there are FIVE half lives before a med is fully metabolized.)
For that reason alone, I put Brom in a similar catagory to Val.  Great for generalized anxiety disorder and also probably a place in a gradual withdrawal from the shorter acting b3nzos.

In my life, Brom is reserved for the odd time I've had a rip-roaring argument with a family member Rolleyes - which tends to effect me greatly for days.
That's when it's handy for me.
There's a difference between having an opinion and having an informed opinion.
