At first they increase your appetite as many of you have agreed with. Truth be told those cravings and increase appetite WILL subside after you’ve been on them for years: this is something I think anyone who has been on benzos for 6 or more years. I also agree with the anecdotal reason is that eventually your brain has changed enough that it’s not so interested in food.
Not unlike the munchies you get from Mary j. After years of chronic use, ones appetite will start to decrease presumably by a similar biochemical reason. basically your brain cares more about the Benzo being there than cravings for foods.
