Iceman, what's happening bro? I don't know what kind of coffee you drink or what you put in it, but damn I want some of that!!! =) Well I tell you, I don't  drink coffee too often so I seldom keep any here. Well I decided I wanted some java this morning, so I jumped in the car and drove to the local convenient store to buy some. When I got there, the guy was locking the front door. I said, 'Hey, the sign says you’re open 24 hours. He said, 'Yes, but not in a row.” ..... ....Well, guess I will see if I have some tea.

I had one of those things ... I didn't like the idea AT ALL.... So when they got me in there ... Got me on the table ... Lifted my "gown", the nurse said,"What's this?!"

I thought I'd put my keys int he wrong pocket or something ..

Then I remembered....

The night before the dreaded exam... I had my little lady draw a "bullseye" on my backside ... Well the Doc got a kick out of it ..

Bet he still mentions that one ...lol

Today I am running later than usual.... Actually slept awhile ... That and I didn't make it to bed till 'bout 11 something ...

Anywhoo ... Got to go this morning over to the center(it's for the older folks they do meals, bingo, auctions and other activities for them) so I'll be cuttin out fairly soon....

But the coffe is hot and the bong is just now cooling off ...lol .... I'll be back shortly, I just hate waking up late! Seems like I'm missing something when I do that ...

We have some new members as of lately, so maybe they'll stop in for a bit this morn ...

And hey Linville... Did you really understand CL's comment? Or was I just going through an octopus moment?

Fire, kitty, Harley hope you girls are feeling great today and especially you Harley.... I used to do the flea market thing, to me the set up/take down was the worst thing abot it ... Can be a daunting task by yourself... Don't over do it....

Ok then ... I'm outta here for the moment...

Y'all know where the cups are and the coffee is hot and it's a brand new pot ... Hot water is in the kettle for the tea crew ... The T-bags are it that little can marked "T-bags" hard to miss ...lol ...

Good Morning Friends And Readers.

IceWizard has not been through here it seems. Well that is unusual.

I attended the services of my old friend and they were just small private and went ok as much as those go. They played one song that kind of got to me , the Beatles, In My Life…..
It was a real nice day to go out to the cemetery.

One just doesnt know when their time is up, he sure would not have thought 4 weeks ago this was coming. He diddnt look un-healthy everyone said……..sighs…it is done he is gone. Goodbye old friend.

So later in the day I had just by chance as it was prescheduled, doctors appointment and he my doctor had lived near my friend as a kid and said one time his dad had given him a ride to the college town he was in …also he could remember my friend but not if he was the older or younger son.

He had seen the obit. You know how they like to talk and say, so how have you been , at first before all the pressing and poking and I mentioned I had attended an old friends funeral ….so from there..
Small world isnt it……as the saying goes.

He said I was in pretty good shape except my anxiety, and lipids running a little high ….wonder why I had that going on with all my job and the friends death…no I am saying this kind of tongue in check…..well enough of that. I felt kind of relieved, after the sudden death of friend, but the blood work is still yet to come….and it can reveal a lot that you cant see, eh.

So I am drinking my Sumatra coffee and enjoying it. Going to work in a little bit and need to go but I wanted to report back a little on my old friend………. because I appreciated ALL the kind words mentioned towards me from everyone.

Harley ... I kinda help out a little from time to time .. There's some great stories come from dealing with some of the ole timers ... You can learn a lot from them ...

And Linville ... I was here 4hrs ago ... I just got back .. I even had one of those "octopus" moments,..lol

Fire ... I'm sure the Doc still laughs about that little stunt .... Couldn't help it, I thought it would be funny ... It was ...lol

IceWizard I guess this morning I was so foggy I didn't notice you had in fact been through here, so sorry to overlook your post.....usually the first I read in the morning as I come here first.....ha

I think CL must have meant the post for the random thoughts thread, they were kind of funny, maybe the funnies.

Harley, I want to thank you for the kind words!
My friend got sick and died in a month . ....we formed a bond back in the day that all those years didn't break. It really makes me sad about him going but you know what , going quick like that if you have to go is the way to do it.
The day was a beautiful fall day with deep blue skies ....I be been left wondering so much seeing him go and the memories we had and never got to reconnect lately.....

Thank you my friend, Harley, for those words of encouragement. They do help......

I hope my bleary eyes notice Ice in the morning, LOL.

Well lookie here .... It's 4:20am ... Hang on a give me just one minute...

Had to pour me a cup of wake up juice and pack up the ole trusty bong ... Brb

Ahhhh, now that's much better ... I've been seeing that our little "house" here is under seige at the moment from "new" people .. Hwy I'm all for growing (to a certain extent) but if these folks have been on other boards before they should know a few rules about slinging certain words around you'd think. Unless they're trying to corrupt or community here....

It's early and I don't fully catch what Charon and others are talking 'bout, so I'll have to re-hash that in a few ....

Well just like yesterday, I managed to "hit the hay" kinda late, hence my late start this morn .. Gotta go back to the center today ... There's another auction in the making ... Man do some of thse folks have bunch of stuff or what!

I'll be back (as time permits) .... Y'all know where everything is ... Grab a chair and make yourself comfortable ...Linville should be along any minute now ...
