Im currently on xanax,been on 4mgs for 6 months,dropped to 3mgs last week,and this week going down to 2mgs.Now simple reason im waiting on order from new iop and its luck of the draw if ill receive anything ,thus have to ration whatever i have before finding new decent sources i can trust.
Now to go back on topic.With xanax worst is the short life,since i limit to taking as little as possible,and my pile is getting smaller,since im used to high dosages,low amounts only barely make me feel right for 3-5 hours at most.
What i do find the hardest part is night time when i cant fall asleep without at least 1mg,and mornings are the worst since i wake up in total panic,given i take last dosage about 10hours prior,it flushes out overnight and waking up in sweat and panic which lasts anywhere from hour once i take another 1mg just to shake it off.during day i try not to take any but this also results in me doing bare minimum social interaction where i cant stand being in one place for to long before i feel panic taking over,simple stuff as shopping eventually leaves me feeling claustrophobic.
So while in the past when had good supply never had issues with taking enough to feel right,but over the years found that my sweet spot is usually 40mgs valium or 4mgs xanax which after almost decade barely changed.
but once cutting down hardest part are the mornings,thus wonder do people split their dosages into smaller,for the night time do you wake up to take some extra just to go back to sleep and wake up feeling somewhat normal.Since know that in general taking xanax before sleep is recipe for one waking up feeling crap.But any advise how to utilize 2mg's over 24h period would be good.since imagine many people either take it as precribed,or when needed,but do believe there are those that maintain same dosage and have routines that works for them long term thus feel free to share,what you learned or feel works best.
I know valium is the best for such cases,due to its long half life,but currently dont have any on the way.thank you
