Is the emails/warnings about MM site real? I just got an email titled: "MacroMass.CN UP & RUNNING PERFECTLY"

Nothing to worry about. Yes, The site was down and is now restored back. MacroMass.CN & Medroids.CN are my websites. MacroMass.CN is up to date whereas Medroids.CN isn't yet.
