Hi all i have known charon many many years and consider her a kindred spirit .
She has been there for me through good , hard , and sad times .
We lost contact one time many years ago and i puut a shout  out on twittter if she read it or anyone knew chsron could she contact me .i think within a week we made contact .
I missed our chats and really taught we would never speak again .
She has been a voice of reason in my life a womans intuition.
I wish we could meet for a coffee .
But my immunotherapy failed and in the winter of my life .
Thats not going to be possible .im 48 i have terminal cancer  and im not feeling cheated or regret .
I alwsys say
You might not belieeve in god .
But satan believes in you .
Im at peace with whats ahead .
I can look my maker in the eye .
Reason im writing this post .
I have a question .
Would you rather hasve a loved one alive in pain .
Or see them gone and at peace .
Im very much loved .and dont want my loved  ones watch me in pain all the time .
Which is more important i seen my mother fight death for 9 days .
But i just wanted her suffering to stop .
Do i leave them with the tramautic memory of survival in agony .
Or do i let nature take its course .
Its an ethical question.
Any feedback appreciated .im conflicted . And sorry for not having something more uplifting .bbut the camaraderie here is like no other

nonoo: I am so sorry u are suffering so. In my family, most of us have fallen to cancer. They are sent home and I cared for them. But they had wonderful meds that made final days liveable.

I don't know how horrific your life and suffering is now. I detest cancer.

And I don't want to see you suffer.

If you dont have family to discuss this with, have a long appointment with your doctors. See what they will prescribe for you to make things easier on you. My father died of pancreatic at home. But he had wonderful medicines.Bromtovs cocktail. (morphine and codeine I believe.) Then he said goodbyes to a few of us. And for three days he was comatose until he passed.

My mother had cancer and she was able to get up hours before her death and go into her bathroom.

Everyone experiences this differently. You do your soul searching. Talk to your doctors, your family and God. And then u decide what you can handle. What the medicines will be. With the proper care and medicine it is possible to pass over easily. Mostly.

You are so young. I hate cancer. But if you have a good and brave doctor whom will script you appropriate pain meds, and family and a nurse the hospital sends, passing over will be easier.

And I shall miss you. Terribly. But I don't want you to suffer.

My family left it up to me the youngest. And i demanded the best working meds for my parents. You need family whom will help you and make your doctors know u must pass with the meds, when time, that they would give their family members and take themselves.

I think God will understand any decisions you and your doctors make now.

We are not meant to suffer when there are medicines and people whom can help you thru this journey.

Go into prayer. Feel the leading of God. But it would not have been so easy for my parents had we not had brave doctors whom we
demanded prescribe for my parents what the drs themselves would want.,

Have your family speak to them for you also. Make demands. I don't want u to suffer and I know certain meds will help in that regard.

God be with you. But demand the meds and care the doctors and nurses would want for themselves. Hopefully family will be with you also so the doctors realize you have support as you deal with the progress of this disease. Let your family make it clear the treatment you need.

I am so sorry nonoo. Surrounded by family and with the strongest meds that I have seen work for my family, passing over is far easier.

i spelled the med wrong. and the computer wont let me look it up now.
When it is time, and u will know, demand the meds that work on pain and one slips away peacefully.

Make sure your family is knowledgeable about your desires.

The right doctors and family pressure will make sure u do not suffer.

bromtov cocktail is the main med we gave my father when drs gave up.

think so carefully about this. i am closer to God than men, and i keep thinking of a way out of this enormous chore. i am just facing loss and agony from working when i have been bed ridden so long

and i have a very succinct way of doing myself in. But I do know with the Lord Almighty, He will not accept me into Heaven should I choose this method.

I want you in Heaven my friend. Father God just heal my friend. start immediately deleting symptoms and pain and fear. surround him with your angels of healing and comfort.

this is such a forever choice. As the family caregiver, my father got thru on the meds when drs gave up. and me mother was able to get up and walk hours before she passed.

Have u tried the meds? any help? Lord, u must heal nonoo I pray. his family will suffer if he takes his own life. so will I and heaven.
Jesus, heal my friend. (and my sister was stage 4 on the border with colorectal cancer. She would never takes more meds to end suffering as we learn in the Bible we must suffer to some extent to reach Heaven. she got thru her first surgeries about 16 yrs ago. Needs some touch up surgery. But it was bearable and she went to places on vacation with her children.)

Lord, Give nonoo another option. How about Healing?

Get stronger meds if these are not working. If the Lord does not heal u, I pray he receive u into heaven. Just heal him God. He is a good man.

but i shall keep prayig whilst i do these chores of deleting 71 yrs of my life as there will be no room. My pain is minimal compared to yours.
Just heal him Lord God in Jesus name I pray.

i love you nonoo. May God heal you. Grant you peace and never fear. And Lord god in Jesus precious name, it is never too late for you to heal your beloved Child. Do this for me, for nonoo, his family.

surround him with angels of comfort and healing as u received in the desert Lord Jesus.

Show my friend the greatest possible mercy I pray. Even as of this moment Lord God.

He loves you also. And i know cancer and that is so hard to get thru. Make it easy for him to maneuver all. Make sure he has meds that stop his pain and not his life.

Show him the mercy of the Lord. The Lord I know God. HUGS.

nonoo I do not know you personally but I will pray for you. I spent the last days with my Father when he passed from cancer. He died from lung cancer, but was in the hospital at the time.

I slept on a cot in his room. They controlled his medication and I told the Doctor and nurses to not let him suffer needlessly. He was aware when he passed, but was medicated.

My brother in law passed from bone cancer and was able to stay home. A hospice nurse came every day and gave him medication through an IV drip. He was able to pass peacefully.

So true im starting a new treatment monday last attempt but supposed to be aggressive on cancer and patient .
But im young .and have faith .
Should be gone long sgo so everyday im beating the odds

nonoo: i feel renewed hope in your response and in you.

You are a strong man of God. I know so many treatmets are horribly aggressive. But as you stated, you are young and have faith.

And I am old and have faith in you and in the Lord God Almighty.

My sister developed pancreatic cancer many many years ago. It took my father. She is still with us.

I shalll pray with her about you. She is my prayer partner. I also have pastors I can call whom need my prayers for themselves and will gladly pray with me for you.

Please, anyone
whom prays to God, please pray for the health and healing of nonoo. He is young and has always been a good man.

Just saying that should the time come that you need prayer, those of us whom are prayer warriors pray for every request we receive.

I am sure nonoo would appreciate any prayers u make on behalf of his healing. In Jesus name I pray.
