You’ll be in great hands. Macs the best. Always try and have backups but macs been my main for a long time. My favorite is getting a personal email sometimes asking how you have been and also heads up on any migration issues asking if you want a request while it’s calm.

Brother, I got your mail. People nowadays send only 1 to 2 emails using the actual PGP softwares. And most PGP softwares these days contains Trojans or viruses for example PGP4Win has ClawsMail and a few other things that most antiviruses would not even allow you to install and even if you force install you shall see strange behavior from your devices. So I have kinda uninstalled PGP software and mostly rely on ProtonMail or Tutanota for their encryptions and encrypted emails. Even OTR Plugin for Pidgin has not been updated by its developed since 2016, So installing such outdated and non-clean things merely for the sake of security and safety in my opinion in a joke and means risking your safety and security. So if you or anyone needs to talk on Pidgin I won’t be using OTR on it. If anyone wishes to talk over email please don’t brother sending me a PGP encrypted message as they are though encrypted but their softwares are full of God knows what kind of stuff.
