April Fools Day pranks

Years before airline troubles, i would go visit me sister in NYC almost every weekend. On one of her trips to a medical conference, i filled one of her suitcases with spam,spam, spam, WONDERFUL SPAM. For April Fools Day. We liked Monty Python.

nowadays? uh, no.

Oh hell, I did a lot of them to that sister. One April Fools i got a pack of glow in the dark stars. Cut them out to be the teeth on a pic of the cheshire cat she had on her wall. When she got home from work and turned out the lights in her bedroom, she thought she was hallucinating. One only saw the infamous cheshire cat smile. But, many i am not putting into print. Just sayin.

Any of you newer people have good April Fools Day pranks you have pulled?

(We still had snow in my state and one year i built a snowman of an horrific french teacher whom harassed the boys. down to a red mop in lieu of his red hair. Man, he was furious, but i was a top student. Innocent child i be. I don't think he was happy that April Fools Day.)

But, no one wants to hear of my transgressions. How bout any of you, especially those trying to get post counts up right now?

Several years ago I was starting an important new job on April 1. Was super nervous and wanted to make sure that I made a good impression. I always listened to a local morning radio show and they announced the time as an hour different from what I expected. I thought they were mistaken at first but then someone called in and said that had forgotten it was daylights savings time. I totally panicked!! Thought I was going to be an hour late on my first day. It was awful. I went and woke my SO freaking out and it took him about a minute to figure out the truth. I don't think I have fallen for an April fools since!

My favorite one is the seran wrap over the toilet. As a child I pulled it off on my old man, needless to say he wasn't to thrilled but since his passing every April Fools Day I remember that trick along with the fake license plate I made of paper and marker that said I smell. They remind me of him and his sense of humor and it makes me happy. By the way he got pulled over on the way to work with the fake plate, the cop let him off apparently the cop had a pain in the ass kid at home that liked to prank him to
