I have read so much positive feedback for the email vendors and now that I have achieved access status I would like to give them a try. Would it not be appropriate for Admin to post an individual set of rules for dealing with email vendors? Maybe even just an FAQ for newbies like me?
Don't get me wrong, I trust our Admin to weed out the riff raff, but this is a new frontier for me and right now I feel like I could use a bit of coaching.
PM me if more appropriate.
Thanks.

The very reason e-mail vendors are put in a ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK area is because its a Heads UP from us to deal with them at your own risk. Coz, Now you see them, Noow you don't. Hope you get that. Further, Mentioning payment methods, shipping methods, vendor locations is prohibitted and applies to any kind of vendor whether an IOP with a website or one with an e-mail only. I hope that helps.
The only way to know how strong you are is to keep testing your limits.

I really wish I could change the subject of my thread to eliminate the word Rules and replace it with the word Suggestions! This is the Wild West here and I know that. I have dealt with IOPs for a long time and I have managed quite well with the unlimited number of changes you must deal with in order to live safely with given that choice.
The email vendor, however, is a completely unknown entity to me. With the way things are going with IOPs now days, who knows? Maybe email vendors represent the future of this business. This leaves me feeling vulnerable because I don't know exactly how this system works. I feel the need to learn now (if I were not an anxious person, then I would most likely not be here to start with!). Should anyone care to offer advice by PM, that would be most appreciated.
Finally, thanks Boss Steel for taking the time to post a response to my thread. Your message is clear and I thank you and all of your Administrative team for allowing me to be here amongst friends at ioplist

a newer member PM'd me yesterday asking what SY vendors are.
i cannot type anymore by nite.
but, i PM'd him what is the usual process with the SY vendors.
We encourage u to make friends whom will explain this to u because we want that info in PM and emails and not on the forum.
But, If u can PM, I can walk u through. Not right now please. May I have a day or two? Tad bit under the weather.
IN PM, though, k?

I PM'd u the basics of SY/email, its all the same. Individual vendors have own rules which one can only find by reading thru every page of the thread.
But, check ur PMs.

The day after I wrote this thread I thought ... well, that was dumb. However, since we are in the Suggestions & Technical area, and since I have gotten good input from Admin. of Steel and Charon here, it is proving to be worthy of the space. Hopefully it will be of benefit to others as well. Thanks again to our heroic admin.!
