Microdosing of newly legalized hallucinogens
#1

Several state out west are legalizing hallucinagens for theraputic use, Oregon for one has now legalized " psilocybin mushrooms"
There is quite a controvery about this within peer reviewed scientific studies indicating opposing results.
While I have no opinion on this matter and I have no experience with any such substances or qualifications as either a pharmacologist or a neuroscientist,
I am a bit facinated by these claims and wondered what others thought or heard?

A recent article in the scientific journal Scientific Reports found benenfits for lower levels of anxiety and depression:

There are other scientific journals that suggest that this  practice may not be  safe or effective, needs more study and control:

Being kind to others costs nothing and enriches your life,
never forget how you felt when someone was once cruel to you,
we all have felt unloved at one time or another we should never want another to feel that way. Smile

Now in my younger days, I experimented with
a variety of different drugs (a lot of which are no longer available)
Then in my mid 20's, I broke out into full blown research..

Now I haven't done research on all the different types of shrooms,
the one with the brown dot on top and purple ring I have..
I never noticed any therapeutic advantages, I have found that
by not using the stems, the "trippy" part is almost nill ..
(strychnine is mainly in the stem) and extended use can cause strychnine poisoning..

Of coarse micro dose wasn't in my repertoire, however, todays
youth are a sketchy bunch (not all) ...

Maybe under a controlled environment it could have the effects
to be able to make one look inside of themselves...

I wouldn't recommend willie-nilly use ...
It IS a very heavy experience

If it benefits you, that is wonderful.

I would be terrified. Pills don't frighten me much as my sister was a big shot MD.

She would give me bottles of 100 or more.

I have had so many head injuries, one of which caused an empty space in the back of my head.

Be careful cuz as far as i know, u gotta wait till they wear off.

I got a lot of illnesses. And I don't want to affect my brain any worse than has been done.

It would be terrifying for me to feel outta control. But thank u for sharing.
