How do “stars” get assigned?

Not a biggie, just curious. I’ve got three stars but I’ve seen people with fewer posts and a lower “reputation “ with four. Just wondering what the process is...

Admin of Steel devised the plan. No time to look up the threads. In suggestions and technical area.

I did just try to tweak your account and make sure you were being deemed a member. And I come back and see it is still 3 stars.

The whys and wherefores are in a thread in suggestions and technical. Probably from 2017. A member wanted more stars or such and Steel devised whom gets what.

Someday, I shall find it.

However, at your post count, I shall offer to a member if he would like a title under their name. One you make up which is important to you. It is an option if you would like.
