Returning guy after 3 years

I'm back. I haven't posted since 2014 so I guess I got erased. I think I had a junior status or something like that (over 50 posts but under whatever the next tier is). Anyway, hello everyone!

So you know, the last two IOPlists committed acts of thievery and lying. The admin sold his soul, if he had one, to at least two vendors. LE took them down.

So, good ole Evil Tester banned fifty of us in one day. The ethical people. And we began this forum in April 2015.

It is a new group. I was the chaplain at other two IOPlists. We have very differing rules:

Thank you for hitting the welcome thread. As both former sites were removed from the internet, and we have no connection with them in any way, shape or form, even if u had eight thousand points, you would have to begin again.

We have the creme of the crop here. We do enforce rules. You can make friends that will last a lifetime.

Thanks Charon. I'll definitely check out the rules, and I appreciate you taking the time to personally let me know what happened, and the tenor of your response. I do remember the last lists very often being unpleasant for no apparent reason. I think courtesy and respect is always more constructive. Thanks again.

Thanks, I've got to spend more time getting familiar with this setup and how to use it. The rules are a lot different.

Yes, indeed they are different. We don't plan on doing anything untoward that will take us down.

The most important rules are regarding: please don't give up too much info on any vendor. When u have fifty posts u may PM for more info.

Vendors and clients are under the gun now, so to speak. So, we have been extraordinarily cautious in our words since we went public a yr or so ago.

I have faith that u can do this. So glad u r actually taking the time to re read the rules. So many have jumped on at holiday time, and they insist they were on THIS ioplist.org five yrs ago or something nutz. And demand posts back. Or, they post in a willy nilly fashion which will help no one.

This is certainly nothing like that "zoo" they called a forum .. We actually try and help folks in this shire..

Of coarse, we get you to keep your postings to five or less in any 24 hr period...
This gives everyone a chance to kinda know a bit about you and in turn, us as well..

I'm quite sure that you have found a site to call you home, we all do..
It's more like an extended family here, so as Linville said, browse around especially
in the lounge area... You'll find all kinds of... Stuff, yeah we'll call it stuff

Thanks Ice, I appreciate the welcome. You don't have to worry about me posting willy-nilly, I tend to stay pretty low key. I've worked with vendors going back quite a few years now, but not that  frequently. I understand things are different these days so I'm trying to get the lay of the land. This seems like a pretty good place to do that. Thanks again.
