Uploading vids problem

Sorry but for some reason I can't upload youtube vids any longer ( some might be happy with that though ), I had it written in a notepad file how to do it, I just tried and after previewing first I just get a url instead of the actual vid, any help would be appreciated, thanks .

we did update the site the other day. linville is the wiz at explaining how to upload a video. i have a way but it seems complicated for many.

let me see if i can get one to update.

somewill knowledgeable will help.

Ok, both Ice and mad max are experts. I hit new reply. The video icon appears second line toward the right.

on first drop down, i choose youtube.

on second drop down, i copy and paste the uRL at youtube. paste it right in. however, it includes a few letters too much.

the youtube url place will be left with: http:// and, i include the copied and pasted URL from youtube but then backspace and delete the extra http: and the extra forward spaces.

Don't worry. MadMax and Ice know how to explain it. I just remember, usually, how to do it.

Ahh, now I remember, I forgot I could do it with the video icon but then have to delete the extra https thing in the url, I was looking at an old notepad file that might have been for the old list or some other forum where you had to do it manually without using the video icon, I will test it out in a mo and see if it works, thanks to Max and Charon for the help and jogging my memory .

It worked as you might be able to see in music vids section ?
