I strongly suggest meditation followed by a hot bath for any relief of anxiety if you do not have your medication for some reason, but meditation is not an easy thing and it takes practice. But I promise you, if you start to figure it out it will be well worth it. Unfortunately sometimes it takes a few therapy sessions and as we all know therapists are not cheap, and also healthcare is so difficult about covering therapy. My humble opinion that is the biggest problem with our healthcare system. Peace

Meditation is a practice that takes time, a process. But yes combined with therapy has been so helpful for me. I love it now. Have you seen fuck that meditation? https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=C_K4HajZfVk It's a fun one I use in the morning if I'm feeling a bit down or overwhelmed. But I know more and more people getting into it.
The greatest pleasure in life is doing what people say you cannot do.

I must admit this meditation/mindfulness thing that I have been doing as part of my recovery does help and is effective.
The whole relaxation is the key. I found like with hypnotherapy when doing relaxation technics if you allow yourself to be suggestible, in the moment, the therapy can be very good for anxiety sufferers

Meditation has worked for me in the past, but I just can't seem to make it a part of my daily routine. If meditation was addictive, the world would be a better place.

Anxiety and depression can take up your energy and mindset as it is so destructive to a person's life. The fact that meditation is not addictive is the reason I don't stick to a routine of doing meditation/mindfulness.
Needs structure and motivation for some, like myself.

Greetings all
I suffer from PTSD and of course anxiety, panic attacks and lots of other nasty mental issues that come along with it. I use meditation on a regular basis combined with certain music. It is a big help in getting calmed down. I have other treatments of course but over time I have kinda figured out what works best for me as I believe each person is different and has to find what works best for them. Peace All

I also meditate, which works wonders for stress. Another thing you might look into is the microcosmic orbit, a form of moving around your chi. The Tao goes into great detail about it. Most forms of martial arts teach this and it can be awesome in helping you overcome chronic pain.
