Why are PK's so difficult to find on IOP's and DNM's?

I had a c section with complications a few months ago, and when the spinal they gave me wore off, I was crawling up the walls. No one would give me anything stronger than Tylenol until. my husband called the complaint line. Then, I got a morphine drip almost immediately. God help you if you have chronic pain.

It's weird, I know others who were given scripts of percs and beyond without even asking for it.  I guess it depends on the doctor and your insurance plan, unfortunately.
