Why are PK's so difficult to find on IOP's and DNM's?
#1
Im not a PK guy, have no need for them. But I was curious they're almost a myth on IOP's etc whereas benzos are so easy to find. Why is this?

Mostly due to scheduling laws.

It was not always this way. It is getting much harder to receive scripted PKs now as well.

Esp as some PKs were spiked with a heavy duty synthetic opiate and quite a few died.

Our gvt has no problems with cutting off chronically ill from PKs. None at all.

As of now, it is easier to obtain a benzo.

In my state most doctors stopped writing scripts for benzos, you have to find an anxiety specialist in most cases, there are some GP's that will write it for you, but they're getting tougher and tougher to find. My GP wont write a script for benzos, addy, and PK, but he will send you to see a specialist. They dont want the liability anymore.

I am in the Big Apple. I called a few years ago. Asking about pain management now that i am permanently disabled, no hope of recovery.

The woman so nicely told me: Of course. We shall bring methadone right to your rental. As long as you die in three months. If you don't die, you must go thru withdrawal on your own.

Ah, no.

I have a son.

I did not want methadone. Nor did I want NY to so happily end my existence as I am deemed useless to society now.

It became a big scandal as so many of the elderly fell for methadone to their home. Some died. But many did not and brought litigation.

It is as if NY is on board with assisted suicide if one is deemed a Useless EaTER, i believe they call us.

Thank God we still have some online choices available.

Still. But, man, are they cracking down. No MMJ and soon no kratom?

This is why we keep details of vendors very close to our chests.

We do not want to lose what appears to be the last of our options, a good deal of the time.

I work in an emergency room in Florida, you still see people getting scripts for pks, but never anything bigger then p 10s. But I will say there is a big variance from doctor to doctor on who strong and how much. I have seen broken bones sent home with ibuprofen

And they wonder "Big H" is on the rise... I wonder.... "street dealers" are just lovin this crack down... Our good ole "Gub-Mint" is turning honest hard workin folks into back alley clients...

People will do what they have to in order to find even an inkling of relief... They wil never be able to make everything illegal, but they try... However, no matter how hard they try, they will not be able to legislate the human mind...

They's come off better with managing addiction than trying to stop folks from their own selves... Cannot be done... Just because sometime IS legal, doesn't mean everybody is gonna do it... For God's sake, hand gliding, mountain climbing, parachuting... That's legal and can kill ya, but I'm not hurring to jump from a perfectly good plane just because it's not a crime!!...

Sorry... Sometimes I get on a tear with our system...

ibuprofen 800 mg with A coating for one's stomach.

Ah, that should do the trick.

Lets face it; if our politicians were in the same boat with us, then things would be very different. They have their own health care system and everything else that matters, so they don't have to be subjected to our ridiculous system.
