I've contacted MM about it and have received a polite and professional response, and I hate to be that person that brings it up in a semi-public forum. I do believe in a reasonable level of transparency in business practices so, whatever. I'm trying very hard not to reveal any details so it's a difficult and risky ttopic to bring up, and I certainly don't want to get on the bad side of IOP because I highly respect the mods, community, and MM as well.
I was told by MM the reason the product has a different appearance is due to copy law for particular regions, but I've not been able to find any corroborating information. That said, I'm only fluent in this one language so I'm aware that it's possible I might be able to find more info if I was searching in a different language.
Anyway. Do any of you know what I'm talking about? If so you don't have to reply here but a PM would be appreciated. The bottom line is this... If someone is selling a particular product, and being well compensated for it, please post a picture of the product exactly as advertised. I do not like, "hey, it's the same thing, but, because xxxx", and I have no way of verifying that. Maybe I feel this way because I had a bad experience with another vendor (not on IOP list) I thought I could trust and they flat out lied to me and fed me a bunch of phony info. The ONLY reason I've spent the time in carefully wording this is because I'd like to continue use MM's service, but it's something I've been thinking about ever since I got the first order and I just wanted to air it out. Thanks guys and gals, y'all are great!
