Once you go through it a couple times you get the hang of it and it's pretty easy. The fees spiked up like crazy a couple months ago but they are pretty good now. One of the big names in the business (one you probably see up top in any search) has fees at the moment that are pretty reasonable (for various values of reasonable)
I find transfers in the service I use take roughly 15 - 30 minutes which as always been ok with me. I also wait till I need coin before transferring money into bitcoin so I don't worry too much about volatility.

all crypto niche is complete joke nowadays theres ICO launching left and right, volatility is basically what will kill all of them eventually, is it practical to use yes if you can do it like within 30 mins, since price swings in blink of an eye, its worthless as actual currency but ok to use as medium.everything concerning blockchain turned into penny stocks and speculation otherwise, not sure of cost transfer but read smth like close to 10% of say 100 which is crazy, i supported main idea but it went to trash in the last few years.

I have a thought on Bitcoin as a payment. It's a small thought that goes "What's the noise about?"
I understand there's an advantage of anonymity and the assurance that your funds can only end up with those they were meant for.
OK. But is that it ?? Besides a FearOfMissingOut, I just can't work out why I need another payment option.
I think I've wandered through this site pretty thoroughly and I've only come across one vendor who only accepts Bitcoin.
I guess if I tried really hard, I might be able to find another one or two (but we don't need names).
But even members with complex or unusually exotic needs don't have to look too hard to find a vendor who can supply and accept payment systems like MG or WU. (Or do they? Am I being naive here? )
I'm not frightened off by the steep learning curve, but I am yet to hear why/how Bitcoin is so much better than the other existing payment methods.
I'd really appreciate it if someone with Bitcoin experience could post a quick dot point reply about it's Amazing Advantages.

It is the way to go . Nobody will ask you anything. Take 30 to 60 minutes the first time, but then is really easy and the value don't matter , since is only an intermediary for us .

No-one asks me anything when I do an on-line WU transfer.
In under 2 minutes the funds are available for collection anywhere in the world.
Still not feeling it for Bitcoin

You are a lucky one, may be the vendor charge it fast enought, general, almost always cause problem.
The general rule, if you want to use WU, is go an pay with cash.

I've used Bitcoins several times since some vendors prefer payment in that form. There's somewhat of a learning curve, but once you get the hang of it, it's easy-peasy.
From a macro level, I think cryptocurrencies are absolutely ridiculous. The Bitcoin network uses enormous amounts of energy for something that's essentially a giant electronic hallucination. They're a perfect symbol for the decline of capitalism and industrial civilization as a whole.
