This is due to people looking to invest in it but given its fluctuations they are concerned people will end up in debt.

Lol, banks don't care about people. They care that if people make money with bitcoins they loose money.
Bitcoins is the future and the prove is all this bankers are doing against bitcoins. Everybody hate the banks, everybody loves bitcoins.

Like all the money the banks lost in the crash of 2008,yet many walked away with huge bonuses, and then got bailed out by the state or the public taxpayers, they don't care if folk get in more debt, thats how their world works, they want your debt, they dont want you leaving them for the likes of bitcoin as they make nothing from it....yet.Still not one of them has faced a court for all the dodgey dealings they got up to which caused the crash of 2008 and cost so many to lose homes, buisness' and pensions etc,if i would have acted so dishonestly i would have been sent to prison, not them though, they believe they are above us and untouchable by law,it will happen all over again as none of them had to face up to their crimes in the financial world.

Just FYI, Navy Federal Credit Union is blocking Coinbase transactions as well.  Pentagon Federal Credit Union has blocked them for some time.  USAA Federal Savings Bank still works.

Nowadays, The main bitcoin walltes, offer tons of ways to buy bitcoins besides credit cards, even cash deposit. Just go to your wallet, check on "fund " and you will see all the options it have and a really good price . It cost me only 5 % and you can ask your vendor to discount that .
