At first I thought Better Call Saul was not so good, after giving it a 2nd chance have discovered it's pretty good really, esp as we get to find out more about Mikes life, he has a good character to see unravel as the episodes go by , a friend copied me the first 6 seasons of Games of throwns, I have only watched 2 episodes of the first series and kind of put it on the back burner, am going to try and get back in to it soon as I am going to have a void to fill when Better Call Saul ends.

Also, don't think anyone else has mentioned it yet I think, True Detective is a great series to watch, kind of dark, I preferred Season 1 much more than 2 but although season 1 with Mathew Whatshisname and the great Woody Harlyson (not sure of exact correct spelling-sorry) is I found, a really gripping watch, season 2 with Colin Farrell ( ? ) and the woman who's name i cannot recall at all is good just not as good as the first season imho.

A really good series to watch, in fact , its one of the most original bits of TV i have seen in a while really.

Am planning on trying to re-watch The Wire, another true classic series.

This is just an observation from da Bug, but are any of you Naked and Afraid fans?
No offence guys, but I have to laugh at the saying that women are the weaker sex. If that were true, why is it most times the man that taps outta the challenge than the woman? Seems to me that it's mostly the macho military guys that can't take it, while the woman soldiers on to complete the challenge. Hum... Me thinks women are not given the credit deserved.

If you have Netflix the show called The League of Gentlemen is worth watching,kind of creepy very black humour,don't know if it will work for our friends in the US,its set in a small village in the North of England,very English type of humour,actually more like very Northern Englissh type of humour,don't know if the folks in Southern England would even get it(LoL).

Definitely work a watch. I think most people will know within a few minutes if they like it or not. It is technically a sitcom, but more like a sketch show since it has so many separate elements.

Stylistically it owes a lot to horror movies (I could list a lot of influences, but The Wicker Man seems the most obvious). It is a small village where something feels very wrong, populated by bizarre characters. Don't expect it all to be neatly wrapped up and explained, instead enjoy the weirdness. Half of it remains a mystery. Lots of the humour comes from the sense it is treading very close to taboo issues. It is adult, more in terms of themes than especially bad language.

It is very British. But I know that isn't always the most useful label. When I was in Michigan I had a friend ask me if I liked British comedy. Turned out he meant old stuff like Benny Hill and Are You Being Served, whereas I was thinking much more recent.

I am loving this season of Preacher, a couple of episodes behind but fun show!

i am no fun:  Investigation Discovery aka autopsy central.  Murder cases and how they were prosecuted.  Forged in Fire.  Street Outlaws OK. Shows on military training.  And, the after effects.  And, whereas I would not watch a show with animals being killed, I recently watched Alaskan Bush people.  They may say those discovery shows are fake.  The mom's cancer is not. Been praying for her a lot.

We get Forged in Fire as well over here, also what about Mountain Men? I like that one, like stuff about people living off grid so to speak in the wilderness, I could have done that 25 years ago but highly doubtful now, don't think I would last very long out there

Used to like American Pickers but watched it too much,too may repeats, it gets repeated a lot here, A LOT.

Don't tend to watch agreat deal on TV at night these days, am usually looking for something to watch online.

I watched a good doc on the bbc iplayer, was about the kid, James Holden(?) who walked in to the cinema and shot a load of people.

It was more about him changing ever since being put on an anti depressant which they claim had a bad impact on him, sertaline was it called maybe?

It did change him according to all his friends and family, SSRIs can sometimes not agree with one person, I know one I was getting from my gp began to make me ill in all sorts of ways.
I think big pharma are just using us as guinea pigs in the quest to find a pill that will bring almost instant happiness, am sure that is what they are looking for.
I enjoyed Gold fever but don't think I actually finished it, then the Aussie gold hunters, there are a few about people searching for gold, even down under the Alaskan ice, no thanks, I'd rather be dry and warm, good show though.

but yeah, we have been used as guinea pigs. when i started researching autoimmunes in about 99, i saw one famous university said autoimmunes are a form of polio. from the vaccinations. my good sis and i whom are the sickest, and the youngest, had it nine times. me mother drank. we got it live, dead, we drank it, and we had it injected. another member has great info up on fibromyalgia and how mice brains somehow got in the vaccinnations is how i believe he stated it.

another famous university claimed it was cuz it was mostly women. and, the act of having a male child triggers an autoimmune in us. balderdash. i saw plenty of families have male children whom did not get sick.

we are still guinea pigs. there is no way jose that humira, which is for RA, should be scripted for acne, and chrons when it can lead to a fatal brain cancer. if someone in your home is gonna have any vaccinnation at all, u gotta tell ur doctor. it surely tells us that vaccinations are serious.

and they are pushing the shingles one now. for baby boomers. but i hear they have gotten shingles then. often twice. and have lasting nerve pain. how come no one knew about this stuff before?

and a new study confirms that the flu vaccination can bring on miscarriages. of course in big pharma, another expert whom teaches at some Ivy League place will write the exact opposite.

I never see a med described on the TV that now does not say: if u need help in paying for ur meds, the manufacturing company will be able to help u. what is wrong with this picture? why cannot the average person pay for meds anymore? Ok, totally off topic. You think they want us totally happy? More in a Stepford Wives sort of way. now i never saw it, but i heard bout that movie. I think Big pharma wants us to be "happy" enough that we comply with everything that they suggest.

And now all these fools see commercials about getting their DNA results to see their nationality. U kidding me? That info will be sold. It will affect one's ability to get life insurance, or health insurance, and sometimes work at all. It can potentially decide a person's role in life. Why so willingly give up that info? Are them bloomin idiots whom fall for DNA tests? Back to tv shows.

Investigation discovery wherein family members seem to learn their father or brother was actually a serial killer. It is a differing perspective. Cuz, most family members insist that their darling boy could never ever do a crime. Despite all the forensics he left at the scene.
