I'm interested in switching from a small dose of Clonazepam to Alprazolam. I know Alp is typically considered king in the world of benzos. Does anybody have experience switching from clonazepam to Alp? Was it good, bad, same?

Ugh. That sounds awful! I know benzos effect everybody differently. I actually really like the relief I get from clon. I'm always curious if there's something else better out there. I've had alp before a LONG time ago but it was in combination of stuff I'm not proud of and I would literally forget DAYS. So I am hesitant in making the shift but a lot of people talk so highly of it.

Actually being able to work is one of the most important things for me as much of my anxiety is associated with work. Thanks J!

I use ks@L@ls everyday to deal with the stress i have at work. Then when i get home i take a couple more and relax for the night with the family and my head is not spinning anymore, worrying about everything!!!! i take about 10mg a day and function fine, and i am a commercial construction superintendent so i am watching over anywhere from 10-100 guys at a time. I had a script for 4x2mg bars a day, moved and now can't find a doc to write my script anymore!!! so this is how i handle it. thanks for reading if you did.

That's good to keep in mind. Maybe have alp in case of an emergency but continue with the clon as my regular medication. I really like how long it lasts. Typically it will last a good 6 or 7 hours. That is when it begins to taper off but by that time I typically don't need another dose as my work day is over. It's when I work 15 hour shifts that I need to take an additional dose.

So you think its a better idea to taper down on alps rather than stay at a steady dose all the time? Im curious about this clon@z@p@m and longer half life!! i didn't know that, i have been going back and forth between alps and diaz. is it worth it to get the clons in there as well and keep switching?

I was on a script of x@n@x for 5 years, 8mg a day. Moved and can't find a doc that will give me either of the prescriptions I was on so, here i am.
