Many years ago... I ran across a paperback book named "Imortalia" (sp)... Any way there where some weird "poems" in it... Don't know if it's still in print or not... And I can't find my copy...

I remember the one....

The Story of Whang

When the Lord made father Adam,
They say he laughed and sang.
While he sewed him down his belly,
With a little piece of whang.


But when the whang was knotted,
He found that He'd measured wrong,
Cause after He tied the knot,
Twas several inches long.

Tiss only but eight inches,
So I guess I'll let it hang.
So from Adam's belly,
He left that little piece of whang.

Now when the Lord made mother Eve,
I imagine He did snort,
Cause the whang he sewed her up with,
Twas several inches short!

Will leave a awful gap,
But should I give a dang.
She can fight if out with Adam,
For his left over piece of whang.

So ever since that day,
That time on earth began.
There's been this constant struggle,
Twixed the woman and the man.

Women swear they'll have that piece,
That from our belly hangs.
To fill the gap the Good Lord made,
when He run too short of whang.

So let us not be stingy boys,
With that which women lack,
And lend our little piece of whang,
To fill up that awful crack...

I Travel With the Circus!

A couple who work at the traveling circus go to an adoption agency.

Social workers there raise doubts about their suitability to adopt.

The couple produces photos of their expensive, 50-foot motorhome, which is already equipped with a beautiful nursery.

The social workers then are doubtful about the education that the child would get.

"We've arranged for a full-time tutor to travel with us, who will teach the child all the usual subjects along with French, Mandarin and computer skills”,said the loving couple.

Then there are doubts about raising a child in a circus environment.

"Our nanny/housekeeper is an expert in pediatric welfare and diet,” they said happily.

The social workers are finally satisfied. “OK,” they ask, "What age and sex of child are you hoping to adopt?”

"Oh", said the lady,"It doesn't really matter, as long as it fits in the cannon."
