I have some Ksalols coming my way... I'm pretty excited! Docz Azor brand 1mg alps are pretty good too.. everytime I take a benzo I take cimitide with it. makes them last twice as long.. I'm pretty dedicated, I always take benzos sublingually no matter what even take the cimitide subligually as well.. if you take them at the same time its a major rush if you have a tolerance.. its bretty good.

Wow Back2Good your dedicated. I'm going to have to check out those books. That sounds like something I'd like to keep in the bookshelf as well. It's true what they say. Knowledge is power. That is a very smart way of keeping your prescriptions as more and more doctors are deciding to arbitrarily change up medications. Knowing the negatives associated with the others pretty effectively ends that conversation in your favor.

Those are good books......I also have them, but now I rely on the Internet for the same info.

We are all in charge of our own bodies....rely on and trust yourself, LISTEN to the messages your body sends you every minute (they are easy to ignore or to not hear because we wrongly place our priorities elsewhere)....then when you are unsure....that's when you use outside advice...i.e. Dr's.

Even then, NEVER rely on a single opinion......I have been seriously hurt in the past by Doctors......never again.

Scientific journals and the like are truly what you should be after as the Internet and those books all use them as references Smile this is where my chemistry knowledge has come from, besides school of course.

I completely agree love the azors. I like to switch between those and the alzams. I'll try out the ksalol eventually but in the meantime I'm going to check out that cimitide. Seems interesting. It slows down the clearance time right. Sounds like a great way to get more bang for your buck. But wouldn't that just slow down how quickly it gets broken down making it last longer but weaker almost like an xr?

Popster I have been given the wrong medication by doctors before. That was not good. But wha else can you do? Looks like to stay within the rules I need to do some more reading for some questions I have

Better yet....do some research and discover that all these meds of the same variety already have different 1/2 lives......and then buy what you deem fits your needs.

Please remember that the longer the 1/2 life....the longer they remain in your system and the greater chance of buildup....which can be problematic...so be carefulSmile

True that, Popster - As a young man, monthly trips to Nuevo Laredo gave me 270 genuine Roche 10mg Valium (this was when they sold them in bottles of 90 tabs per bottle, and US Customs would let you simply show a prescription from a Mexican Doctor (Dentist, in my case - He wrote scripts for $10 while the Doc next door wanted $25), declare the meds, and walk back on across the bridge into Laredo without a care in the world.  Hey, it was the 70's Smile

I quickly discovered that two Vals were more fun than one, two Vals and a few Lone Stars were even MORE fun, and ultimately that my "sweet spot" was 4 Vals and a 6-pack of Lone Star.  What I didn't know (hey, I was 17 years old) was the enormous half-life of Diazepam - So I was truly puzzled when I began to feel "buzzed" 24x7, and have difficulty staying awake in class.  Eventually one of my cousins, much older than I was explained the sliding scale of half-lives to me, and it all made sense.

Per the benzo equivalency chart, Diazepam can have a half-life of up to 100 hours, and the metabolites can take up to 200 hours to clear.  So if you're taking them every day, that dosage in your bloodstream is just building up, and building up...If you use large doses you could wind up with God only knows how many milligrams of the active ingredient floating around in your bloodstream.

Listen to Popster, and Google "benzo equivalency chart" - What you find there will no doubt shock some of you.

And be careful out there.

Best,

it's your one and only body.

The more you respect it and listen to it the happier you will be.

Knowledge is power......of all the stats that exist regarding the alps.....the time of onset and the 1/2 life are the most important to me after dosage amount.
