Yes, i would read about such things.

It has always broken my heart that the Kennedy's got a lobotomy on the daughter they did not want seen in public. I have read she was no terror.

“At 22, she was becoming increasingly irritable and difficult.” The following year, after being persuaded that a lobotomy would help to calm his daughter and prevent her sometimes violent mood swings, Joseph Kennedy authorized the operation.

I had one cousin whom drs made the mother fear he would rape and kill someone. No, he was not like that at all.

So they put him in Wingdale. He was my age. We would visit him. He was a lovely man. My aunt got rather forced into it.

So it seems doctors would do this for financial gain. Or the state. I am sure I shall see him in Heaven.

It is disgusting how many were taken down by this. A husband changes his mind, child gets a lobotomy. Eh gads.
