I'm so sorry for only reading the thread title and not reading your post in full, please disregard my above post as I can't edit it for some reason.
I didn't mean to be rude and I know it came across as that way due to me making assumptions. I hope this reply is more helpful to your concerns!
Generally when someone is suffering from physical pain or an ailment of that kind you want to seek out the red vein Kr@tom strains as they are known to have the best analgesic qualities. One strain in particular that is most potent if you get a good batch of it is Red Bali. It seems to have the highest opioid-esque effects out of any of the other red strains i've come across vs. a white or green strain that can have more of a stimulant effect. Two runners up are Red Borneo and Red Kali but by far Red Bali is the most analgesic imo.
Start her off with only a tiny dose(about a quarter gram or less) to test for allergic reactions or nausea. Once you establish her tolerability for it you will want to ramp the dose up to about 2 grams so she can get a feel for what its effects are like. For analgesic purposes you have to dose in the higher range usually (5-6 grams is a good ballpark estimate). Once she has a feel for it let her decide how best she would like to take it. For those with a sensitive stomach tea works best vs. something crude like toss & wash or mixing it with fruit juice as the plant matter doesn't mix into anything very well and the texture can make for a foul experience.
If she wants to start with tea, here's a simple recipe:
1) Measure out her regular dose of Kr@tom adding an extra gram for lost alkaloids that will get left behind when straining
2) Get a pot of water boiling on the stove and reduce to a simmer
3) Dump the Kr@tom in the simmering water and let the concoction simmer for 15-20 mins at the least
4) Get a clean t-shirt or similar piece of fabric and place it over an empty coffee mug slightly indenting the cloth before securing it around the mug with an elastic band
5) Slowly dump the Kr@tom over the fabric and let it all drain into the mug
6) Once you get to the last bit of water/Kr@tom sludge pour it onto the fabric and wait till it cools to the touch, then with clean hands squeeze the plant matter inside the fabric and into the mug ensuring you get as much of the alkaloids out of the plant matter as possible
7) Add some lemon and a hint of honey as this will help negate the bitterness if you wish
How effective the Kr@tom will be for her pain depends on her established tolerance to the heavier opioids/opiate pharmaceuticals shes been using most likely. It has a lot of painkilling potential but cross-tolerance has to be accounted for and someone who started on Kr@tom without having touched another opioid would get more immediate relief. I think if she slowly transitions from her conventional pain medicines to the Kr@tom it would work best and eventually the Kr@tom should be able to do the job in full.
Hope this reply was much more helpful!
