really intriguing. i remember we spent a semester reading Indian American books such as Black Elk speaks.
It was horrific what we did to these people. Ok, i know the Bible commands war at times. But, what i recall most, is that we Americans gave mothers blankets filled with small pox germs. My sister and i never got over that. When a mother wants her baby warm, she would gladly take the blanket and never assume what evil lay behind the motives for giving the blanket.
very sad chapter in our history. When the Irish were facing the British induced famine on us, The American Indians sent food to help us. God will certainly bless them for kindness they showed to others.
