rain and cold ache thru every part of my being. but, if i refuse to give in to diseases, and sit in the sun, for half hour, then i cannot move the next day. or two or three. sighs. but, i buy a cool skin cream that protects my skin and gives me a tad of fake tan. I guess we Irish are made for cold and rainy days.
Those of u whom can enjoy the sun, please do. Even if u garden, wear a hat. put on sunblock. and i always suggest people take benadryl and liquid with them if they mow the lawn. a police officer near me died mowing the lawn cuz his wife had no idea that simple benedryl could have stopped his death.
well, i am one party pooper. But, I am a mother. We carry very large pocket books so we have supplies for others in emergencies.
At least the fake tans don't turn one orange anymore.
So sorry Charon I did not mean to touch a nerve or rub it in.. I cannot imagine what you have to go through and you have my prayers. It's mostly cold and raining where I am so I just appreciate a nice sunny day but we rarely get to the point we could actually Tan.. You Irish are built tough though and good people the best...
Peace...
