Oh trust me i asked when we booked him if they needed willing parents to go along lol, i usually do that on trips my children make, but it was a no go on the ski trip. I honestly think from the group of parents whats app chat that they would have had every parent with them and so would be unfair to pick a few. They have 7 teachers going and 45 children, and then they have the instructors at the resort who will take them out. My boy is under strict instructions to follow the guide as if he were his shadow and to go no where on his own. He knows he is not a world champion skier and that he needs to ski within his ability and not show off. Wow don't i just sound like a total fun sponge haha. (thats a nervous laugh)
I know i have to let him go and he is so, so excited, which is a good thing, I'm just a nervous wreck. The resort gets fantastic reviews and i know they are geared towards school trips and its their thing, so I'm sure it will be fine. I guess its just natural as parents to worry about our babies.
I will be saying lots of prayers for each section, I'm literally worried about the bus journeys, the flights and then the skiing, he on the other hand is worried he may get blisters and not be able to ski. I honestly can't remember the last time i could worry about the little things. I really don't want to put my fears onto him though, i want him to go and have an amazing time.
