Hi Pine,
Got a few Himalayan salt product stalls here in AZ where I am living. Lamps, etc. I'm not a believer, in anything in particular. Was a lurker during the "Human Potential Movement" of the 90s. Lots of Himalayan salt stuff then. I was on Mr. Shasta the day of the "Harmonic Covergence", one of the power spots. Didn't feel anything, but I was open to the idea.
Anyway, not the lamp, but did buy a small jar of the salt "scrub". Just rinse your hands, take half a teaspoon and exfoliate by rubbing hands together or elbows, or knees, or wherever you feel like you can take it, ha. It was free trial as I walked by, didn't give all the directions. I'd almost exfoliated the skin on my hands down to the bone I think before the lady stopped me, and had me rinse, then you just keep rubbing for a silky smooth finish.
Now the lamps and other salt formations there made the more esoteric claims. I didn't get one cause they are kind of expensive, I don't have room, and have tried most types of semi-precious stone placement to suck the essential universal goodness from the air into your being. But, as the Boss says, I dunno. They are very interesting to look at and can't hurt. The scrub is good though, comes in different smells.
Spank
