Three storms are predicted to hit Coos Bay on the morning of the 15th. Not exactly the "Perfect Storm"' that might happen in the Grand Banks, but a pretty good one. I just sit at the dinette table in my small RV and rock.
I have a "bug out" bag, inspired by a Werner Herzog doc called, "Encounters At The End Of The World", story of the people in an outpost in
Antarctica. The cook there had a "bug out" bag, said he could be ready to go anywhere in fifteen minutes. I immediately ordered a greenish canvas duffle bag off the internet. So far, it only has a tooth brush and some tooth paste in it. I know a lot of ex military are familiar with the bug out bag. Anyway, I need to get something but tooth care products into the bag.
I'm trying to clean up a small toaster oven I got at the Salvation Army store, but every time I get it outside to the picnic table to get it clean and sharp, it starts to rain. When I get it back inside in a garbage bag, the rain stops. I think I'll just clear off the dinette table, and get to work on it in here. I use my oven for storage, but miss my own corn bread recipe, and a few other baked things, like the simple biscuits you buy in the tubes. It works fine, just need to clean up the inside.
