I'm from the Deep South, and I don't find anything offensive about it at all. I've been called a redneck by many people before in my life, even though I'm nothing what a "typical" redneck is considered to be where I'm from. A lot of people take pride in being called a redneck, and I believe these jokes are just harmless. You have to laugh at yourself and things people say. It's all in good fun
