As Popster was saying, we need to stock pile when we can. You cannot predict when a vendor will disappear, a LL will appear, other country holidays or mail issues cause delays, weather will cause delays or our lovely postal system will, lose, miss deliver or return to sender your registered mail because your postal person is too lazy to leave one of those colored slips letting you know they tried to deliver.
In my humble opinion, if you are a daily user, if you can slowly put together the funds to get to a 3 month surplus supply, that you keep some where that is not a temptation for you, you should be prepared for the worst. It may take you awhile, but it could save you a lot of stress and/or your life.
