Welcome, Doctorfrink, from a fellow newbie.
There's some fascinating reading here on all kinds of topics, I've found myself doing more reading than I have posting, to tell you the truth. Both the moderators and the members are friendly and helpful, I've seen absolutely no rudeness or flaming whatsoever (which is a testimony to how well the admin and mods do their jobs...I've never seen a forum as well-mannered as this one), and the absence of "bro-science" posts is refreshing as well.
Good luck to you in finding what you need, there's a wealth of information here even in the non-restricted areas...I haven't made it through half of the areas I want to read up on yet.
