red wine test and yes we all have them, swish some red wine well for a full 30 seconds then spit it on a white plate and you may be surprised what you will see.

Interesting subject, I knew it reminded me of something, though I couldn't buy a bottle of red and try it.  The sulfides in red wine I can't further tolerate, after several years of drinking red wine. 

What it reminded me of was a movie from 2006 with Ashley Judd, called "Bugs".  She and her partner suffer increasingly from morgellons in the movie.  I don't dismiss your concerns.  Unless you have ongoing symptoms, ie, "formitcation", then I hope you can let this concern for the phenomenon  go.
