they used to make one tie up their bank account with the paypal account.

they are known for holding accounts, while they investigate, on a regular basis.  for three months.

and, yes, they hold up ur monies if u r caught engaging in meds or sexual shenanigans for money.

they are on rip off report as far as i recall, as well.

just be prepared:  keep a separate banking account if u can.  

cuz, i don't know about u, but being on a fixed income, if my account is held up, it would be hell for me.

Luckily, I didn't have my bank account set-up.  I had a pre-paid card.  I tried logging in (this two years ago) and it said my account was suspended for violation of the ToS.  I checked my email and it basically said my account was suspend for violating their terms of services regarding the use of unauthorized pharmacies or something similar.  However, I just recently set-up a new account and have used it for eBay purchases.  I won't link my bank account because of the reasons you outlined.  I have a credit card linked to it now.
