I remember in the early 70's they put
metal detectors at all the entrances and a couple of cops at the doors.
If you weren't a student or had business there, you didn't get in.

I often wondered why they took them out ...
However, let ANYONE at the school "strip search" my son
or daughter... Well, that won't turn out to good for em ...
