At my son's middle school when we lived in Mahopac, kids had to go thru a turnstyle. There were 2 police officers at said turnstyle.
Middle School. Younger kids. Although one reads news and 3 yr old shot a kid at some school in bum fecked egypt or such.
We all knew the 2 kids whom were capable of such behavior. They should have had to walk thru a scanner device.
But since we learned so many teachers are pedophiles at heart in some areas, I say Hell no.
The presence of a security officer and a scanning device should suffice in most areas. Strangers were never allowed into the school.
